Artist, Kathleen Victoria

Kathleen is a West Virginia native who has loved art since her early years. In 2025, Kathleen started her own business, Pure Victory Art LLC, to turn her creative passions into a career. Her business name was inspired by her own: Kathleen means “Pure”, and Victoria means “Victory”. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology and Field Biology; and a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). As a wildlife and nature photographer, Kathleen brings her camera with her on many travels and outdoor adventures. Her hand-painted originals and photographs are often inspired by the wonders of God’s creation portrayed in landscapes, plants and animals, and sometimes by farm and ranch life. When not in plein air, she often uses her own photographs as a reference for her paintings, looking at her photo while hand-drawing the picture on watercolor paper. Kathleen likes to use high quality, professional grade watercolors on 100% cotton, archival, acid-free paper.
In addition to cartography, drawing, painting, and photography, Kathleen also enjoys fishing, hiking, horseback riding, playing guitar and singing, cooking, and going to visit the ocean when possible.
